             Charles Freer Andrews was a priest of a church in England. He was christian missionary. He was also an educator and a social reformer. In India he was a close friend of Mahatma Gandhi. Because of his contribution in India's Independence movement Gandhi and students at Stephen College, Delhi named him as "DeenBandhu" or "Friend Of The Poor".
